To develop new product concepts centred around emergent consumer needs and contemporary category trends

We agreed with the client to focus on one trend that could incrementally grow the client’s business. Working within supply constraints, we aimed to co-create product attributes and profiles with post 95 youth in China

1. Tea, whilst being a traditional drink in China has resurged amongst youth, with new applications such as bubble tea, fruit tea, cold brew etc.

2. Our aim was to contextualise each of these trends within consumer reality to craft desirable formats, attributes and delivery mechanisms

We conducted co – creation sessions with creative consumers to ideate upon ideal product attributes and crafted a product concept that fleshed out the core insight, product benefit and core attributes

Product development is on track to be launched in Q3, 2019
