money saving

Bishi (pronounced as bee–she or bee–cee) is a social circle wherein each member contributes a pre-decided amount of money to the pool every month.

Subsequently, everyone gets a turn to take home a large sum of money compared to what they put into the pool. It is an essential form of credit for women to purchase something for their house or buy gold as they may not have access to such a large sum money at once. The reasons for saving and being part these groups are varied, but this form of creating interest free credit has managed to transgress many socio-economic barriers and bring together a heterogeneous set of members that do not commonly interact on similar forums.
